The Longs Peak Chorus showcased their musical talents with captivating spring performances in Longmont and Loveland, Colorado. "Our Fondest Dreams" was first held on May 18 with two shows at the Longmont Museum’s Stewart Auditorium, followed by a third show on June 1 at the First United Methodist Church’s Coy Hall in Loveland.
The performances featured a lineup of esteemed guest artists, including Harmony Road A Capella and My Favorite Quartet from Fort Collins, along with 5 Minutes More and Sunday Night Social from Denver. In addition, there were several quartets from Longs Peak Chorus that performed, including Sounds Appealing which headlined the Loveland show. Each group brought their unique style and harmonies, contributing to an evening of diverse and delightful barbershop music.
Audience members were visibly moved by the performances, with reactions of “lovely” and “wow” heard at the end of several songs. One younger audience member shared that the show had "an old man charm to it." The Longs Peak Chorus and their guests received enthusiastic applause, highlighting the community’s appreciation for their musical artistry.
